As we begin another eventful year with hopeful enthusiasm, it is my hope that this blog will inspire you to get involved, get engaged and get excited about all the possibilities that this year holds.
On Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 11:30-1:30 in LSF 144, The Career Center at the North Central Campus will be hosting its first part-time employment fair of the new school year. This fair is open to all students. There will be employers who are eager to hire for part time employment. Should you not be on the hunt for part-time employment this semester this is still a great way to start off a new semester, meeting and mingling with like-minded people on campus.
If you are unable to attend the part-time fair, you are in luck because on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 The Career Center will be hosting the Fall Career Expo. This will be yet another opportunity to get acquainted with employers from the area that are interested in you! Make yourself available to these opportunities, you wont regret it!
This is a formal invitation to come out to the employment fairs and stay abreast of all of the happenings on your campus. We want to know you, we want to encourage you, we want you to be excited about your future.
Make this year’s experience one you will never forget; join a club or organization. If you don’t see something you are interested in, start your own! If you were waiting for a welcome letter, this is it! Welcome to your beautiful campus, now get busy!! Let’s have a great semester!
Don’t Forget Purdue Pride Week!
